Study Type: in vitro
Regimen description
Heat-inactivated post-mitochondrial supernatants of ovary tissue collected from sexually mature females treated with chemicals in a series of concentrations. After 4 hour incubation with phosphate buffer containing androstenedione, tritiated water was measured to quantify aromatase reaction products and determine degree of aromatase inhibition by each chemical.
