Prototype Landing Page
This is the landing page for AOP-Knowledgebase data model prototyping work that has been conducted between August 2023 - August 2024. Anyone can view the content that has been submitted, but only users who are registered stress testers have the ability to submit content.
AOP-Wiki/KB data model prototyping work has gone through three major iterations to date, starting with the first evidence modeling (EMOD) prototype sponsored by Environment and Climate Change Canada in summer of 2022. The second round of prototyping was driven by the Methods2AOP collaborative initiative. The most recent round of prototyping, EMOD 2.0 incorporates lessons learned from each previous prototype. More information about the prototyping and stress testing efforts can be found on the Prototype Details Page.
EMOD 2.0
Integrates data model objects developed in the previous two prototype iterations:
- Introduced Key Event Relationship-based workflow that allowed submission of evidence and observation information on KER pages, which is then linked on the appropriate Key Event pages
- Introduced a Key Event-based workflow that allows creation of an association between Key Events and assays
- Introduces assay and observation export features on the KE pages
- Introduces improved search features within submission forms
Methods2AOP 1.0
Introduces new data objects to structure Methods information that links to KEs to improve mapping between AOPs and New Approach Methodologies:
- Assays could be linked to Key Events through observations data objects, which were nested within a study design object.
- A Methods-first approach focussed on introducing the data objects which could be popultated using stand-alone forms for references, assays, and samples.
EMOD 1.0
Introduced a KER-based Evidence Map feature and new data objects to structure references, evidence and observations.
